WATCH: ‘Black Lives Matter’ Activists Reportedly Attack Decorated Marine

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three persons of interest in reference to an Aggravated Assault and Robbery (Pickpocket) incident which occurred in the 900 block of E Street, NW, on Friday, February 12, 2016 at approximately 9:40 PM. The subjects were captured by the McDonald’s surveillance cameras.

The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Chris Marquez, a Marine who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

From WJLA: “Marquez says while he was eating at a McDonald’s Friday night, a group of young people surrounded him and began yelling about “black lives matter.” Marquez says he sensed trouble and ignored them. When he left he was attacked and viciously beaten.”

Marquez was also robbed of his debit and credit cards.

Crime Solvers of Washington, DC currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
