INDIANAPOLIS — An American Airlines flight out of Greensboro, North Carolina en route to Chicago made an emergency landing at Indianapolis International Airport on Wednesday.
According to WRTV, ‘Crews found a smoking bag after a report of smoke in the cargo area’ and ‘no one has claimed the bag.’
49 passengers and three crew members on-board disembarked the aircraft with no injures reported.
An investigation is underway to determine the source of the smoke.
