OKFUSKEE COUNTY, Oklahoma — The bodies discovered in Oklahoma are two missing friends from Temple, Texas, police believe.
The Temple, Texas Police Department received notification that the bodies of two deceased individuals have been located and recovered by the Oklahoma State Medical Examiners Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations. The preliminary investigation lead detectives to believe that the bodies recovered are that of Jenna Scott and Michael Swearingin.
The Oklahoma State Medical Examiners Office will be responsible for making the positive identifications at autopsy.
According to KCEN Channel 6, Jenna had filed a protective order against a man she met on Tinder. The two dated and eventually broke up. He has not been formally named as a suspect.

The Scott and Swearingin families have been notified of this preliminary identification.
“In order to protect the integrity of this ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time,” Temple police said.
