According to The Baltimore Banner, who are citing sources, Roy McGrath, the former chief of staff for former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, was located by law enforcement officials in Tennessee.

McGrath had been on the run since March 13 and was considered a fugitive by the U.S. Marshals Service after he missed his federal fraud trial.

The source revealed that McGrath was found wounded, but the circumstances surrounding his capture remain unclear.

The U.S. Marshals Service and FBI had offered a combined reward of $20,000 for any information that would lead to McGrath’s arrest.

In October 2021, McGrath was indicted on charges that he had illegally recorded former Governor Hogan and embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from the state government. If found guilty, he could face up to 100 years in federal prison.
