TEXAS — Covenant Health Plainview in Plainview, Texas was placed on lockdown Wednesday evening and a SWAT team was called.
Per KCBD: A KCBD viewer who has a relative at the hospital says, “We heard that there was a shooter at the grain elevator across the road to the north between the hospital and the Walmart distribution center. Right now the police currently haven’t got the person that has a gun.”
The facility released the following statement at 8:20 p.m.:
“There is an incident going on across the street from the hospital as a precautionary measure the hospital was placed on lockdown. It will remain on lockdown until police resolve the issue. At no time have patients or employees been in immediate danger.”
Only in Plainview would there be a naked guy with a gun running around the hospital. Smh.
