Another Man Found Hanged In Mississippi

    TUNICA COUNTY, Mississippi — The Tunica County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, are on the scene of a man found hanged near the Miss. river.

    The victim was found hanging in the Mhoon Landing Park, near the river. We’ve now learned the man was found inside of an ongoing construction site.

    Police are working to determine if the death is suicide or some sort of foul-play.

    The construction company is currently building a grain storage facility that will be used to load barges on the Mississippi River.

    WMC reported the deceased is a white male. No further details were available. Last month, another man was found hanged in Mississippi.

    Mhoon Landing Park is located at 2045 Mhoon Landing Parkway. The Park includes view of the Mississippi River with several picnic shelters, walking track, playground with benches, according to a state website.

    Tunica County is a county located in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of the 2010 census, the population was 10,778. Its county seat is Tunica. The county is named for the Tunica Native Americans.
