HOUSTON, TX. — At least two people were rushed to the hospital Tuesday after apparently being exposed to a ‘white powdery substance’ at Senator Ted Cruz’s office, officials said.
The office is located in an building at 3200 SW Fwy. The 9th floor of the Phoenix Tower has been evacuated–the evacuation order was later lifted.
A Houston Fire Department HAZMAT team responded and said all tests were negative for any hazardous substance.
Earlier in the day, the Pentagon said it received a substance that tested positive for ricin.
