Cause Of Death Revealed For Ray Lewis III, NFL Legend’s Son

Ray Lewis III, a former college football player and son of the NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, has passed away at the age of 28.

“A true angel I pray your at peace now because IK how much you was rlly hurtin. I don’t and won’t ever have the words man cuz this pain right here….I love you I love you I love you,” Lewis’s younger brother, Rahsaan, wrote on social media Thursday. “Your niece gone miss you but she will hear about u over and over just watch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I’ll make you smile and proud.”

FOX 35 reported: According to an overdose report from Casselberry police, Lewis III was found unresponsive in a bedroom in a Casselberry home Wednesday evening around 5 p.m. A blue pill, “unofficially” identified as Alprazolam was found near Lewis III who was found unresponsive in a bedroom in the home. Police and fire crews attempted to administer NARCAN to Lewis III who was placed on a stretcher and taken to Advent Health Altamonte.

Lewis III was later pronounced dead and the investigation is ongoing.

“The evidence and witness accounts show this incident to be a tragic accident,” police said.

Lewis III recently showcased his skills as a member of the Wyoming Mustangs in the Champions Indoor Football league and had aspirations to be a successful rapper.
