NYPD Investigating Letter With White Powder Sent To Manhattan DA Bragg

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is investigating a new threatening letter sent to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

According to ABC News, the letter was found just after 3 p.m. in the basement mailroom at 80 Centre Street and contained a white powder. At this time, there are no reports of any injuries or illnesses resulting from the incident.

The authorities have mobilized in response to the situation, including the NYPD, the Department of Environmental Protection, and the Office of Emergency Management.

Bragg has been receiving stepped-up security since he indicted former President Donald Trump.
