DECATUR, Georgia — A Dekalb police officer has been involved in a serious car crash in DeKalb County Thursday afternoon.
The wreck happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Glenwood Road near Columbia Drive, WSBTV reported. The officer had to be pulled from the car injured but is expected to survive, fire officials said.
The roads are closed in that area because of the wreck.
It’s unclear what caused the crash. There was no word on other injures.
An investigation is underway.
