CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Argument Between Junk Removal Rivals Leads To Stabbing at Landfill

BALTIMORE — (Scroll Down For Video) — Police have charged a man with 1st Degree assault after stabbing another man at a Baltimore County landfill in Cockeysville.

Police were called to the Centeral Acceptance Facility at 10275 Beaver Dam Road just after 2 p.m. after a disagreement between men from two different junk removal companies led to one man stabbing another. The dispute stemmed from one truck cutting in front of the other truck to enter the dumping area first.

Officer Schiner of Precinct 7 recovered surveillance video from the County landfill that shows the second truck back into the dumping area where the driver immediately engages in a verbal altercation with the other driver. The other driver, identified as Christopher Maurice Johnson (35) of the 800 block of North Aisquith Street, 21202, punches the man in the face, beginning a physical fight. The passenger of the second truck, a 45-year-old man, ran to the assistance of his coworker and was subsequently stabbed in the abdomen by Johnson. He was transported to Sinai Trauma Center and is expected to survive his injury.

Johnson was arrested at the scene and charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault and Use of a Dangerous Weapon in the Commission of a Crime. He is held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no bail status.
