A Chicago police sergeant was shot in a parking lot Sunday afternoon.
According to WGN reporter Jenna Barnes, the sergeant was hit in the face and was rushed to a hospital. The officer was ‘doing okay,” Barnes said in a tweet, quoting a spokesperson.
It was unclear what led up to the shooting. A SWAT team was seen in the area.
