After 25 year old Diamond Lawrence failed in her attempt to steal $11 worth of frozen food from Walmart in Dallas a member of the shop staff approached her outside in an effort to escort her back inside and return the stolen articles.
En route to the store, Lawrence claimed that she had HIV and stated that she was able to infect “whoever I please.” Upon noticing that Lawrence was in possession of a medical bracelet confirming that she did, in fact, have the disease, the shoplifter then lashed out at the employee, smacking him across the face and then scratching his face with the intent of drawing blood and infecting him with HIV.
The employee was later examined by Dallas Fire Department but no bodily fluid had come into contact with the blood drawn.
Later detained a the Dallas Country Jail, Lawrence’s bail was set at $1,500
