As the bodies of two young women were discovered dead, one found stuffed in a suitcase, Hong Kong police are currently questioning the 29 year old British banker, Rurik Jutting, who was arrested shortly after the discovery.
Police arrived after receiving a report from Jutting to discover the naked body of a young women aged between 25 and 30 with knife wounds. Cocaine was also discovered at the crime scene.
Police officers described the “copious bleeding” from the throat wound.” A few hours later, as police continued their examination, they discovered another body inside a suitcase on the balcony. Police believe this woman to have been involved in a sex ring.
The body appears to have been situated on the balcony for some time as neighbors describe the smell as “horrendous.”
No further details are presently available. However, as police are legally allowed to detain a suspect for up to 48 hours without charge, new light should be shed upon the case in the coming hours.
