Delta Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Cabin Crew Start Fighting

A Delta Airlines plane made an emergency landing after members of the cabin crew began brawling on board the flight.

Instead of violent or drunken passengers getting into a fight, two members of the cabin crew had a mid-flight altercation after take off.

Delta Airlines blamed the brawl on a ‘work issue’ which involved another crew member being punched in the face.

Another flight attendant who attempted to break up the bawl was hit in the face.

The plane was flying from Los Angeles, the captain took the decision to land at Utah so the cabin crew could be removed.

Passengers received an apology and air miles or travel vouchers.

Delta released a statement saying:

We apologise to those customers who were inconvenienced after flight 2598 from Los Angeles to Minneapolis made an unscheduled stop in Salt Lake City following an altercation involving two flight attendants on board.

‘The actions of these crew members in no way reflect the values and professionalism we expect from all of our employees.

‘We strive to ensure that every customer has a great experience with Delta.

‘We regret that our customers’ experience did not live up to our expectations.”
