TEXAS – The Dallas County Health and Human Services building, located at 2377 North Stemmons Freeway near the Dallas medical district, has been placed on lockdown in response to reports of a potential shooting.
Law enforcement officials are conducting a floor-by-floor search to look for any suspects or victims.
An employee inside the building told NBC 5 that ‘shots were heard coming from inside the building at about 2:30 p.m.’
#Breaking I’m told police have some people in custody so hopefully the situation is under control but not certain. Sources say gunshots were fired on the 5th floor. People are still being evacuated from the Dallas County Health and Human Services building on I-35
