Philadelphia Elementary School on Lockdown Over Possible Armed Person


A Philadelphia elementary school was placed on lockdown Monday after a parent was reportedly coming to the building armed with a gun.

According to FOX 29, the ‘principal of Willard Elementary School reportedly called 911 and stated that a parent was coming to pick up a child armed with a gun, stemming from a custody dispute.’

Officers were en route to the school — located at 1930 E Elkhart Street.

No injuries were reported.
