Feds Dismantle Multiple Stash Houses In Texas

Law enforcement partners up to dismantle stash houses / CBP

EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents, along with multiple law enforcement agencies, dismantled three separate stash house operations.

On Tuesday, Rio Grande Valley Sector agents and deputies with the Hidalgo County Constables Office (HCCO), Precinct 4 identified a stash house operating in a Pharr, Texas, neighborhood. Inside the residence, agents and HCCO deputies discovered 11 illegal aliens from the countries of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Furthermore, agents identified two of the illegal aliens held at the residence as unaccompanied children.

On Thursday morning, Border Patrol agents assisted multiple law enforcement agencies execute a search warrant at residence in Edinburg, Texas, suspected of harboring illegal aliens. Inside the house, they discovered 10 illegal aliens from the countries of Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador and Nicaragua.

That afternoon, agents received a call for assistance from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office who discovered a stash house operating out of residence in Alamo, Texas. Agents arrived at the stash house and identified 10 illegal aliens from the countries of Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador and Nicaragua. Additionally, one of the illegal aliens is a confirmed 18th Street gang member.

The Border Patrol is processing all subjects accordingly.
