IRVING, TX. — Police in Irving, Texas were responding to a hostage incident at a home in the Las Colinas community Monday.
According to NBC-DFW, a ‘man in his 60’s fired shots and [several] people are being held inside’ the home–located in the 300 block of San Marcos Drive.
A SWAT team was called in and residents were urged to avoid the area.

It was unclear if anyone was injured.
