FLORIDA — Zimmerman wore blue scrubs and handcuffs when he appeared in court Saturday morning.
According to WFTV, the judge granted Zimmerman a $5,000 bond and ordered that he surrender all firearms. Zimmerman, who bonded out of jail about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, also is forbidden to have contact with the victim, who was not identified, and is not allowed to consume alcohol.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 17.
Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the Trayvon Martin case, was arrested Friday on suspicion of aggravated assault and domestic violence with a weapon, local authorities said.
CNN reports he allegedly threw a wine bottle at his girlfriend.
