NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department has activated the New York State Amber Alert and is investigating a child abduction that occurred near Gleason Ave , in the Bronx, New York at about 7:30 PM on 1/15/2019.
The child, Seniya Benitez is a Hispanic female, approximately 2 years old with strait, black hair and brown eyes. Seniya is Non-verbal with Autism and was last seen wearing Pajamas, Blue Jacket, no shoes.
The suspect is her father, Christian Benitez is a Hispanic male, approximately 21 years old with short, black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing Black Jeans, Black sneakers, Black hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect was last seen traveling on the 6 Train at Castle Hille Avenue possibly heading for unknown direction.
The child was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious physical injury and/or death.
