Man Arrested After Throwing Paper Over The White House Fence

WASHINGTON — A man has been arrested after he threw papers over the White House’s north fence. The incident took place at around 1:20pm on Sunday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the secret service reported to the Washington Post that they were miscellaneous papers and were deemed safe.

The secret service then arrested the man in front of the white house.

He was then later taken to the Metropolitan Police Department. According to reports, this incident shut down Pennsylvania Avenue for over two hours.

The suspects name is currently not known, he is only described as male.

During November 2015, a man named Joseph Caputo scaled the White House fence before being arrested and charged.
