OGDEN, Utah — There was a large Halloween party at 684 24th Street in Ogden—several people were in the area walking back and forth from the party to the park.
There was a verbal altercation with people in a car that drove through the area with the party attendees.
Individuals in the car came back to the area and a fight ensued.
Officers were called to a large gathering/fight in progress and stabilized the scene.
Officers located a male that was unresponsive. Ogden Fire/Medical responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was later declared deceased.
The name of the deceased was not released.
The autopsy is scheduled for Monday, October 30th.
Over 30 people were witnesses. Interviews and statements were obtained.
The investigation is ongoing.
