TEXAS — On May 6, 2016, at approximately 1:39 pm, Dallas Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 14032 Peyton Drive. During the preliminary investigation, a victim was found inside of the apartment deceased.
The victim was later identified as Maria Arteaga-Manuel. Detectives discovered that the victim died from homicidal violence prior to the fire.
The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in this murder investigation.
