Ohio cops arrest suspect accused of killing 2 people, including recent High School graduate

Columbus, Ohio – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect accused of murdering two men, including a recent Zanesville High School graduate.

According to 10TV, the victims were dating their killer’s family members.

The following is a news release from Sheriff Charles Black Jr.:

On 10-30-2021 this Office received a complaint in reference to two missing subjects. One being Daniel E Franzoi age 24 from Beallsville Ohio, and a Malakai Devon Curry age 20 out of Caldwell Ohio. The caller advised that both of these males went with Jacob Wilson age 38 from Woodsfield Ohio to the family dump on the Wilson Farm to discard of their trash. The caller advised that once Jacob drove off the hill back down to the residence, Malakai and Daniel wasn’t with him. Caller stated that Jacob then left in his truck in an unknown direction.

Once the call was received, Deputies along with Division of Wildlife responded to the location. A search of the family farm and dump area was conducted, and the male victims were discovered at the dump. Both victims were recovered and transported to the Montgomery County Coroners Office for an autopsy.

While Deputies were at the Wilson Farm, additional Deputies responded to Jacob Wilsons residence in Woodsfield and located him outside of the residence, at which time a custodial arrest was made. Search warrants were obtained and all evidence was collected at multiple sites. Evidence is currently being processed for submission to BCI&I for DNA analysis and firearm comparison.

Jacob Wilson age 38 from Woodsfield Ohio is currently charged with 2 Counts of Aggravated murder with gun specs, 2 counts of Tampering with evidence, and 2 Counts of Abuse of a corpse.


A motive for the crime remains unknown.
