ANCHORAGE, ALASKA — 26-year-old Track Palin, the eldest son of Conservative politician Sarah Palin, was arrested in a domestic violence case on Monday.
The New York Daily News reports that Track ‘allegedly punched his girlfriend in the eye, kicked her in the knee and then held an AR-15 assault rifle near his head.’
The incident occurred at his parents’ home, where he lives. Wasilla police responded to a 911 call at the residence. He was ultimately charged with assault, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime and possessing a weapon while intoxicated.
It’s unclear what sparked the argument. Track is to appear in front of a Judge Thursday.
