17-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed On Brooklyn Street

NEW YORK — A teenager was fatally stabbed in Williamsburg Brooklyn Wednesday night, near Sternberg park.

According to WNBC, the 17-year-old got into an argument with the suspect before he was attacked. The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The scene is at Lorimer St and Montrose Ave.

The following is a release from the NYPD: “On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at 4:30PM, police responded to a 911 call of a male stabbed at the corner of Lorimer Street and Montrose Street, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn – within the confines of the 90 Precinct. Upon arrival officers discovered the victim, a 17-year-old, stabbed in the torso. EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification and the investigation is ongoing.”
