BOYNTON BEACH, FLA. — A police officer and his partner, K9 Iro, found a stolen AR-15 hidden under a burglary suspect’s mattress after the 17-year-old danced to rap music and bragged about having it during an Instagram live video.
Police say Moses Clay Jr. stole the gun from an unmarked law enforcement vehicle last week. Among the items stolen were two loaded magazines, a Taser and a ballistic helmet.
Police say the items were stolen from the officer’s car while it was parked outside a shopping center.
The suspect is charged with burglary while armed with a firearm and grand theft.
