Twitter went down for users worldwide Thursday afternoon. The outage hit around 12:45 p.m. ET.
Users logging on were met with the message, “Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing—we’re going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon.”
It was unclear what caused the issue.
