NEWARK, NJ — One person is dead and at least 3 others have been shot during the Mother’s Day bike blessing in Newark.
It all went down near Springfield Avenue and South 19th Street, WABC reported. It’s unclear what led up to or provoked the shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
15-year-old Al-Shakeen Woodson was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. 3 others were also shot.
The suspect(s) responsible are still on the loose. An investigation is ongoing.
