Uzi Machine Pistol Seized In Brooklyn, Three Men Arrested

Cops in Brooklyn arrested three men in possession of an Uzi machine pistol and a .380 semi-automatic handgun after conducting a search warrant at the suspects’ residence.

Sergeant Florencio Arquer, Sergeant David Cheesewright, Police Officer Thaddeus Grandstaff, Detective Lawrence Hotaling and Police Officer Andrew Kamna, of the Patrol Borough Brooklyn North Field Intelligence team were continuing an active investigation that resulted in the officers obtaining a search warrant for 330 Hudson Walk, Apartment #5A, inside the Ingersoll/Whitman Houses.

On Wednesday morning members of the Emergency Service Unit (ESU) secured the residence and assisted the Intelligence team to gain access and safely search the location. The group effort between the officers from Brooklyn North and ESU resulted in the team seizing two weapons and arresting the men.

1- .380 caliber Hi-Point pistol
1- air pistol
100- .380 rounds caliber ammunition
100- 9mm rounds ammunition
21- assorted live rounds
1- 9mm magazine
5.5 Ounces of Marijuana
