A 22-year-old woman from Oregon has been found guilty of raping and sexually abusing a seven-year-old boy.
Melissa Chacon was convicted on Friday of three counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of first-degree rape.
Ms Chacon now faces up to 25 years in prison when she is sentenced on January 25.
The 22-year-old defendant was found not guilty of using a child in a display of sexual conduct and one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
According to documents, the child’s sister also once came upon the 22-year-old woman kissing the boy inappropriately.
On another occasion, the sister reportedly caught the grown woman and the 7-year-old boy in bed together.
When questioned by police, Chacon admitted to having sex with the grade-schooler, the records state.
The female child molester revealed to detectives that she performed various sex acts with the boy on multiple occasions in January and February.
She was arrested in late April and ordered held in jail on $750,000 bail.
At her arraignment in May, Chacon pleaded not guilty to all the charges against her.
