The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance identifying the suspect wanted for attempted rape, rape and robbery within the confines of the 5th and 7th Precincts. Details are as follows:

NEW YORK — (Scroll down for video) — The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the suspect wanted for attempted rape, rape and robbery within the confines of the 5th and 7th Precincts. Details are as follows:

1) On Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 0540 hours, the suspect followed the victim, a 33-year-old female, into her apartment building on James Street, within the confines of the 5 Precinct. Once inside, the suspect grabbed the victim and attempted to rape and rob her. The victim was able to fight the suspect off. He then fled the location. There were no reported injuries.

2) On Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 0740 hours, the suspect followed the victim, a 24-year-old female, into her building on Broome Street, within the confines of the 7 Precinct. Once inside, the suspect grabbed the victim by her shoulders and removed her identification from her hand. The victim screamed and the suspect fled the location. There were no reported injuries.

3) On Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 0845 hours, the victim, a 40-year-old female, was entering her apartment on the FDR Drive, within the confines of the 7 Precinct, when she noticed the suspect emerge from the stairway. The suspect attempted to engage the victim in conversation and as they spoke, forced her into her apartment where he raped her. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was removed to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

The suspect is male black in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties, 5’9″ to 5’10” tall.
