A Ukrainian Boeing-737 jet carrying 176 people, including 63 Canadian citizens, crashed in Iran early Wednesday–there were no survivors.
The plane was mistakenly shot down by Iranian missiles, spy satellite evidence suggests, US officials say.
Video posted online appears to show the moment the jet was struck. The footage has not been confirmed.
The incident occurred just hours after Iran fired more than a dozen ballistic missiles targeting two military bases housing American and coalition troops. No U.S. troops were killed in the attack.
