FLORIDA — There was an active shooting reported at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton on Sunday. One gunshot victim was located and transported to a hospital.
Police later said there was ‘no active shooter.’
Several shots were reportedly fired around 3 p.m. local time as shoppers flooded 911 dispatch.
The mall was placed on lockdown as police officers armed with rifles conducted an ‘active search.’
There is no active shooter at this time at Town Center Mall. @bocapolice responded to a report of shots fired and is currently conducting a search of the mall.

It was unclear if a suspect was in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
